During the Australian summer of 2021, our furry animals came out of lockdown and were ready to frolick at their favourite beaches, pools, lakes and rivers — for their own version of hot girl summer: Wet Dog Summer.
To help them feel their best, our dogs need to apply self-care to their coats and skin. This campaign aimed to provide brand awareness that DOG by Dr Lisa is here help both pet and human.
The campaign required OOH advertising across Sydney beaches with 3 x artwork variations for landscape paste-up posters.
The campaign captures the vibrancy, colour and energy of summer after an extended, cold lockdown.
Using illustration as a design tool to represent the DOG products and pups, this direction allows for a variety of visual storytelling, a flexible layout system and takes a brave angle by not explicitly featuring the DOG products, but instead their silhouettes.
Due to budget re-allocations, this campaign didn’t go to print however the joy in collaborating with the DOG team was the main event.
