BTS with Shillington is a social media campaign that spotlights Shillington Education’s greatest USP — our amazing design teachers and community.
We aimed to amplify the community's heartbeat through a series of Instagram Reels that capture our BTS — Behind the Staff, Behind the Students, Behind the Studio.
Our challenge lay in crafting a visual identity for an Instagram Reel series with an artful yet unscripted allure. Guided by Instagram Reel engagement research, we devised a dynamic formula: simple type lockups, expressive 'stickers,' and typography reflecting Instagram Reel and TikTok aesthetics, in harmony with Shillington's branding.
My role involved partnering closely with New York's Head of Marketing, Laura Carrick — to research, strategise our social approach, craft the visual identity, animate assets, aid in filming, audio selection, video editing, and testing.
We filmed across our New York and London campuses. And the subsequent magic is due to Shillington's talented team, whose natural charisma shines brightly in each episode.
